   October 22 is the traditional Spiritual New Year for ECKANKAR. This occurrence is a key turning point in the life of a spiritual student. It’s a fresh start, and new opportunities for spiritual advancement are revealed to each individual through dreams, spiritual exercises, and inner guidance. It’s a time for balancing one’s rate of vibrations.
