“The Law of Silence” – Spiritual Discussion (online–Seattle)

Sun, January 11 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

The Law of Silence is a spiritual principle that draws a very fine line. If you have an experience that may help another person understand his own, then tell it in a fitting way. Also be sure that telling your experience will really help that person. Sometimes we like to brag about our imagined superior spiritual development.  You can tell when you’ve said too much: Your stomach will knot up; you’ll feel uncomfortable. It takes some people a long time to learn to watch their own bodies as a sensitivity meter about how their words affect others. But you can learn to do it. The Law of Silence is easier to learn if you’re more willing to just listen to others instead of having to pummel them with your great wisdom.

—Harold Klemp, A Modern Prophet Answers Your Key Questions About Life, Book 1, Ch. 7

Spiritual conversations are a wonderful way for people to share stories, ideas, insights, and personal experiences about a variety of topics that show how Spirit is working in your life. These discussions are relaxed, welcoming, and genuine, and are for anyone who wants to explore their spiritual life more deeply with others in openhearted conversation.

All are welcome! Come join in!

Please contact Frank Martorelli at resa@eckwa.org for the Zoom link to join in.
